I did it again - cut poor DS while trimming nails!!

I feel so bad, I'm a horrible mother!! I was attempting to trim his nails, which seem like they need cutting everyday, and he moved and I got his finger!! Why do baby cuts seem to take forever to stop bleeding??? Finally stopped and I think it's ok. I put a band-aid on it and had him sleep in this sleeper that covers the hands so he can't get to it. I'm afraid to see what it looks like this morning.

Ugggghhh....and of course DH made me feel so bad about doing it - I had done this once before months back. I told him, I am NEVER cutting his nails again!!

Ugh I did this too recently it s*cks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And you're right I could not believe how much that fingertip bled!!! I was for an hour and told the baby, that's IT I'm never cutting them again!! My dh didn't get it either (of course he's never tried to cut them so ). I'm waiting for my sister to visit so she can do it, she has 3 kids and is a PRO

I cut DS 2x while trying to cut his nails. I finally gave up and bought the really cheap emery boards. THey work great because they are a little rougher

I only use a curved nail scissor(not specifically for a baby) I have never cut my DC with it. I did cut DD#1 bad with a nail clipper when she was 5 days old.
