I Didn't Know I was Pregnant (TLC)
Just was channel surfing and turned this show on. I've seen it before, and every time I watch it, after going through pregnancy, it just continues to boggle my mind that someone could never know she was preggers. I guess it is certainly possible (hence the show!) but I still have a hard time believing it. Thoughts?

I like that show...it's beyond my understanding but that's why I think I like it so much.

Hmmmmm.......
See for me, I have PCOS and very rarely get an AF , and with either of my DC's had zero morning sickness...The dead give-away for me would be when I started to show because I was BIG with both...So I could see me going through the first few months not knowing, but thats about all

Many women don't get AF regularly. I rarely had m/s with DS. And I did not feel DS moving until 16 weeks. So except that I have very regular AF and for the baby belly, I would not really know I was PG just based on PG symptoms.

Re: I Didn't Know I was Pregnant (TLC)
AF has always been irregular for me. One day i got very dizzy and almost passed out and someone said to me maybe your pregnant so i took a test and it was postive. I never had any morning sickness so i think if i didnt have that dizzy spell and someone didnt suggest it, i wouldnt have known i was pregnant, until i started showing of course cuz then there was no denying it.

I still find it hard to believe, but there is wayyyy wierder stuff out there too!
A woman I worked with had this happen to her daughter. When I heard the story first-hand it became more realistic

Re: I Didn't Know I was Pregnant (TLC)
Personally, after going through and having EVERY symptom possible with pregnancy, I have no idea how to not know. BUT... I had a friend who was pretty overweight, she knew she was pregnant, and she NEVER felt the baby move. She actually kept going back to the Dr bc she thought something was wrong. I've only seen the show a few times, but the ones I have seen, the women seemed to be fairly heavy as well. Who knows if it's realted or not. I felt like Gianna was going to bust through the front of my stomach at some points lol.

Re: I Didn't Know I was Pregnant (TLC)
I know of someone who this just happened to! She just had the baby last Friday and only knew she was pregnant for 10 days!!!! She got her period every month and only gained about 9 lbs. She didn't feel well early on and went to the dr but they never did a pregnancy test. She finally had sharp pains and went to the doctor again and they did an ultrasound 3x because they couldn't believe what they say....a 6lb baby boy! She ended up going into labor 10 days later and had the healthy boy after only 6 hours of labor! Crazy huh!?!? I am going to the "post" baby shower on sunday!
ETA: Oh and she is not overweight. Some people thought she gained weight but it looked like she just gained weight in her middle...not like a preggo belly!
