I didn't know that there was a dress code at Stop and Shop
or else I would have dressed accordingly lol.
I'm in a funk. My childhood home, the home of my stepdad who passed away recently is going to be sold in the next two weeks. I'm just in a really sad funk tonight. We ate dinner, I showered and put on my grey sweatpants, my stepdads tie dyed Santana t-shirt (his fave) and then decided I wanted ice cream to feel better lol.
So DH and I run out to stop and shop, me looking how I did oh and with wet hair and in the ice cream aisle some kids in their early 20's late teens walk by and two of them look at me, say something about my outfit to each other and snicker. I was mortified. I just want to cry. Normally I wouldn't care, it's just one of those days, and I had a hard week at work.
You don't like my outfit? Fine, laugh at me in your head or tell your friend in the car that you thought that crazy lady in the ice cream aisle shouldn't be wearing that to Stop and Shop but don't say it in front of me, it really hurt, esp today.

Wow, that's really lame. I can't believe anyone would be like that.
You should see how I dress when I go there. I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up on that website People of Wal-Mart some days. 
Seriously though, I hope you feel better.

Don't let a few kids hanging out in Stop n Shop get under your skin. They are the ones hanging out in Stop N Shop.

They are lame. Who cares what they think  feel better!!
oh and FYI - I was dressed alot worse this Sunday and I didn't just run in for ice cream. I did an entire 2 hour shopping trip looking like a hot mess

I think that sounds really cute!!!! I just went out to Target the other night in my sweats, wet hair, flip flops....if anyone had the nerve to say anything about me, i'd have given them the finger

There isn't. I go to stop and shop in these sweats that were my dad's. I wore them so much, they have a whole in the ****** (it's not a big whole, but a whole none the less)
I really don't care what people think about what I wear.
