I dont understand my mother!! Much needed vent.
So most of you know that i have been on bedrest for 3 weeks. so for the past few days i went to my mothers so i could have a change of pass i was suppose to stay until friday, but i miss my DH and the pull out bed is not that comfortable. So yesterday she told me that if i wanted to go home today she didnt care. I knew it was a trap. Well this morning she was all happy and sweet, and when i asked if she minded that i go home today her whole mood changed. She asked me when i wanted to go, i said whenever she wanted. Whatever was easier for her. Well we get in the car and of course there is traffic and she is huffing and puffing. i said whats wrong and then she goes off how she didnt need this today that she didnt sleep last night that i am selfish i dont care about her, well i just bursted into tears and i said i should have known she was going to do this when i said yes to sleep over. And she said what set me off the most that i a hurting the baby but getting upset like this, and that i dont care about the baby!!!! I dont care about this baby this child!!!! im want nothing more than this baby. I just lost it, and im ashamed to say this but i need to be honest, i called her crazy, and i called her a B*tch. I know i shouldnt talk to her like that but it just hurt me so much for her to say that. My mother has been like this my whole life. she sets these little traps and when u take her up on it she gets upset.
Do u think that i hurt the baby or my cerclage by crying and getting upset? God i hope not.

if it were possible to hurt the baby while crying or getting upset - every pregnant woman in the world would be on anti-depressants!
i cry at the DROP of a hat....sob sometimes, etc...
i'm sure you are fine - don't let her trick your mind !!!!

sorry you had to deal with that drama.....but you should be ok.... our parents job is to freak out and be worried...bc that's all they can do....they cant control you or help you....sadly we're not children anymore....and this is their way or showing love or UTMOST concern!

i have no clue in the world with that stuff - but i don't think it would be possible...
call your OB and ask and then you will 100% KNOW for sure!!!

i just called. And she said that would be highly unlikely. She said dont worry about it, and try to relax.

I'm sure everything is just fine. I'm so sorry you had to go through that with your mother. It sounds just like something my mother would do to me. I think they're long lost sisters. I just keep trying to tell myself that she's crazy and not let her get to me. I know what DH and I are doing are the right things for the way we want to raise our child.
