I feel and see a tiny little tooth coming up
How long until it actually comes up? Sorry my DD has been drooling buckets for 4 months and swollen gums just as long so this has been a day I've been waiting for

DD's first tooth broke through 2 weeks ago...it's only up a bit more- feels more like a ridge than a point now.
Tooth #2 just broke through on Thursday- still just pointy.

DS cut his first tooth a few days shy of 6 months. If you see and feel it already it should just be a matter of days before it really pops through. Then the next one should follow a couple of weeks later. I noticed DS's second one coming through over the weekend!
ETA: After reading everyone's responses I guess it different for each baby!

it took mila 3 days to have it pop out where you could see the whole width of the tooth...but now theyre still coming in 3 weeks later.

Do you actually see the white? Once I saw the white it was a few days....one of those being a terribly cranky day the day before it actually popped (this has been for both bottom teeth for DS - he now has all four top front ones coming in and am preparing myself for a very bad day any moment!)
It's so exciting!!!

DS has been cutting his bottom eyeteeth for no less than 2 months now; his top ones never even got swollen and popped in literally overnight. So, it's not just dependent on the kid, it's also dependent on the teeth themselves.
I hope it happens soon!

thanks...oy I just want to see a full on tooth already I feel like they've been coming for months with her being swollen, but finally we see the little white and its rigid and sharp when I touch it....

sasha has three little points of corners of teeth on the bottom gum. I had noticed the first one in particular about 2 to 3 weeks ago. It's getting a little more apparent--but no real difference in her behavior, etc. The drool is non stop anyways.
