OMG I think I feel a tooth!

Matthew was chomping on my finger the way he always does. I always let him do that and all of a sudden I felt something pinch my finger. I was like "ow" So I rubbed my finger along his gums and I felt the little pinch again.

I looked in his mouth and saw a tiny dot. Could this be it?

Could it still be months before this tooth finishes coming in? How long does it take once it brakes through the surface?

I saw this very tiny tiny little point. When you touch it it feels like a little pinch. I told DH to feel it and he felt the same thing and so did my mom. So at least I know i'm not going nuts here...Chat Icon

Re: OMG I think I feel a tooth!

He hasn't been cranky though. He's been doing his usual babbling and smiling.

Last night he had me up from 1:30am-3amChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon He wasn't crying. He was just babbling but he just couldn't settle down to sleep again. Could this be related to the teething? He never cried, well he did at the very end for like 5 minutes before he finally crashed.

Oh wow I can actually see the outline of teeth.

Well DS hasn't been cranky now but who knows. Right now it's a tiny little spec. Once it starts breaking through more he might get cranky. But I am knocking on wood that he doesn't...

My daughter is 6 months and I felt her first tooth on Nov. 4th. It had already broken through at that point!!! It's still coming in, verrrryyy slowly.

Yes I believe that could be from teething. Before DS cut his first tooth he was up almost everynight, but not cranky or crying, for an hour or two. He just wanted to sit with me in the rocking chair and relax. Hasn't done it since he cut the tooth. He wasn't overly cranky or anything either during day.

Yeah you get so excited every time they reach a milestone. Last night he was on the gym mat and he rolled over again. We all clapped and were like "yayyy". He was smiling up a storm every time he rolled over and we clapped for him...LOL
