I feel like a bad mommy today
I suffer from vertigo, and today, it's REALLY bad. I am a SAHM and this is the first time it's been really bad since having DD six months ago. I feel horrible that I'm not playing with her as much and have her in the exersaucer watching noggin so I can lay with my head propped up. I wish I could play with her more, but my head starts spinning the second I am up and moving

A bad mother is someone who doesn't do anything for their vertigo & doesn't get checked out.
A good mother is the one that knows her limits & knows that if she doesn't take care of herself, she can't take care of her children.
You sound like the latter to me. Feel better.

definitely not a bad mommy. Hope you feel better. My mom used to get that also. Have you ever tried taking dramamine for it? It used to work for her.

Re: I feel like a bad mommy today
You're right. You should go out for a jog. Who cares if Mommy is sick!.. Umm.. NO. You need to take care of you so that you can take care of her. Has she been screaming her head off? Starving? In a wet/poopy diaper? She will be fine. I am home with my DD alone as well and you know what, there are times that i've been sick with no one to help. Entertainers/excersaucers are made to keep children contained and content. Do what you have to do to feel better. Can you lay on the floor with her? Even if you can't DO much, you can still have the physical contact with her and move her toys around? Or, any chance you can put her on your chest/belly while you're on the couch? Just so you get the interaction you both need?
Feel better!
