I finally conquered one of my biggest fears yesterday...

You'd think after 2 c-sections and a back surgery, not much would freak me out anymore...

...except for ANYTHING dental-related.

Yesterday, I had 3 teeth extracted...an impacted wisdom tooth that I had an appointment for literally 13 YEAR AGO and chickened out at the last second. They also removed the top wisdom tooth that matched the pair, as well as a botched root canal from 10 years ago that had decayed down to nothing.

I'm so proud of myself. If you knew me, you'd know this was a HUGE, HUGE step for me.

Oh, and for the record, I want to find the man who invented IV sedation dentistry and personally give him a big smack on the lips! I don't remember a thing! Hell, I don't even remember leaving the office! Good thing I wasn't driving!

I also was afraid of the dentist and had botched work. Once I found a good dentist going now is a breeze. I had 2 root canals, and 1 wisdom tooth extracted, and 2 cavities filled. I go every 3 months because I never want to go thru it again. Dentisitry has really come a long way.
