I finally went to Robert Moses!
After 12 years of living out on LI, DH and I finally made it to RM beach. How ridiculous that it took us this long!
We do live closer to the north shore, so we have gone up there several times. We didn't expect the weather to be so nice today, so we said 'screw it' to the huge list of household things that needed to get done and went. It was just what we needed.

that's great! my family always went to RM when we needed an ocean fix (we grew up on the North Shore). Never over crowded and the boardwalk is great.

The waves were huge. Lots of surfers and hardly any beach b/c it was a really high tide.
FInally did Fire Island a couple of years ago, RM today...
What other LI must-dos can I devirginize myself to? Besides paying ridiculous property taxes and sitting in traffic?
