I got in a car accident today
I was stopped at a red light and got smashed from behind. Thankfully I had my seatbelt on, and my car took it like a champ. I totally saw it coming too because I looked up in my rearview and saw him flying and heard the screeching from him slamming on his brakes- i said oh my gawd and boom. he hit me. He hit me so hard that my sunroom cover thing opened and everything i had stored under my radio in my dash flew out all over.
I felt so bad for the kid though--he was 17 and just got his license. He was hysterical in tears he felt so bad. He was putting his sun visor down bc the sun was so bad and that was when he realized how close he was to me and it was too late.
It keeps replaying in my head.
Ontop of me being sick, I'm incrediblyl sore.
I went to go past a house my dh and I are going to look at tomorrow and I was on my way home when this happened. I will take that as a sign not to take the house lol

Just making sure that you are ok...I have been in two bad accidents where I was hit from behind and had neck and back problems and still continue to have them.

I am so sorry this happened. I am glad you are OK.
This happened to me a few years ago too. I was rear ended and pushed into a van in front of me..I was "Sandwiched".
Please go to the Dr. You may feel fine now, but wake up tomorrow sore.
My back was hurting the next AM.
Keep us posted.

I am glad you are ok & good thing you had your seat belt on.
This same thing happened to my dad on Sunday. A 17 yr old girl smashed into the back of his brand new car. She was hysterical & crying- She called her dad & when he pulled up in his mercedes SUV he told her not to worry, he'd pay for her car 
I must be getting old b/c I'm starting to believe that 17 yr olds shouldn't be driving on the road alone.

 that's terrible - same thing happened to me when i was stopped at a stop sign. the kid that hit me still had his PAPER license from the test site  that was how NEW he was on the road. anywho, definitely get checked out - take it from me, it will take you a very, very long time to get over this - even though it seems like no big deal b/c you are OK - getting rear-ended is STILL something i think about constantly - for a while, everytime i was stopped at a light or a stop sign i would get anxious - and everytime i braked hard i would look in my rearview and panic - it's just something that comes that was never there before being rear-ended -- it SUX  but it goes away a lot after awhile and then it's pretty normal - just the occasional panic. glad you're ok and the car is good.

Aw thank you so much.
I think I'm going to milk the "can you massage me my neck hurts" thing to my dh for a while lol.
I will def go to the dr. I've had back problems in the past and its nothing to mess around with.
Now if only I can convince my friend who was in the car with me to go as well.

dude that sux....just glad you weren't hurt too bad. i'm sure you'll be needing some pain meds tomorrow. stay home from work and chill!
and make sure you follow thru with a doc---and no fault insurance can take care of your medical stuff.....and make sure you report everything to the insurance company--both yours and the driver of the other car

OMG i am so glad it was not worse.
ps. please go get looked at. the day after my accident i was barly able to move... the pain it always worse 24 hours later..... feel better soon

he didnt take any of my info. he didnt know what to do lol
shocker i know--I'm going to work lol. Then hopefully the dr.
