$$$ doesn't buy happiness.
This is so true
But there are a lot of poor people out there that are just as miserable. Given the option...I'd take the $$$$. (It may not buy you happiness, but it sure does give you a lot of freedom.)

so true, I have been on both sides, we were on welfare when I was young and then my parents worked 3 jobs each and put themseloves through school, my Dad got his doctorate and my mom earned her masters and we lived very comfortably, it is a much happier life when you don't have financial stressors and don't have to worry how to buy food and put gas in your car, it is miserable. Money is a good thing, as long as you don't lose the value of it The NY times quotes that 85% of the depressed population site fiancial issues as their biggest issue, that tells ya something

What I want to know is how they pick the houses that they are going to use? Does someone say "oh my friend has this great kitchen?". I've always wondered this!
yes- basically- we needed nice homes close to our office- and they all know someone who knows someone who works here!

But this could also mean "the poorest rich people on the block" right?? Rich people too have financial issues...otherwise we wouldn't have mega millionaires stealing from their employees. It could be super wealthy people with spending issues leading to their financial issues. I know that money makes things easier but so does health, family and friends. I feel like nothing buys happiness, it's all within our own heads

Quite true!!!! People who are wealthy are just as happy as anyone else. People always assume that people who are wealthy are so unhappy in their lives which I believe is not always true.
I do not assume that wealthy people are unhappy, that is a silly assumption. I do not assume either, that JUST because they are wealthy, they are automatically happy, KWIM?
