If your Dr was really worried she would have admitted you to the hospital for bedrest. FYI-even with twins my Dr's were comfortable with me delivering this week so I am positive your baby would be fine. Try not to worry-get some good books and food and relax!
I know how hard it is to hear the doctor tell you that. It is good you told him how you were feeling. Stay calm and keep those feet up that is the best thing you can do for your baby and drink drink drink

thanks so much she was going to send me to L&D if i was having contractions but after being on the monitor for an hour; i didnt have any so i'll just rest for now
Glad that you went to the doctor to be checked out. I'm 33 weeks and my doctor put me on bedrest last week due to high blood pressure. I feel your pain. It is not as bad as I thought. Just take it easy!! Rest up!!!
omg Laura....just do what the dr says and relax. Definitely relax. Let DH spoil you for the next few weeks and don't lift a finger. You and your baby will be a-ok.
ITA. I went on bed-rest with last PG at 30 weeks, and I went a little early, but not dangerously so. Definitely take it easy!
