I guess I never realized how clueless DH really is
So we're talking baby #2 last night and DH says to me what am I going to do when you are in the hospital? How am I going to deal with Roman? It really made me realize he never really took care of him without me for an extended period of time.

Your not a lone  When I was pregnant with #3 my dh's first question was who is going to help him with the other 2 while I'm in the hospital.  Sometime I wonder if they play clueless or they really are

guess he wasnt even thinking about being there for the birth!! haha- looked how he already got so nervous about #1!!
all of our DHs are the same.....

I kind of liked having "Men time" at home while DW was in the hospital. DS was 3 at the time, and DW was in the hospital for a few days. I took off from work, and DS and I visited DW every day, but most of the time I had him alone with me in the house. Luckily, at 3yo, I could heat up some spaghetti, do cereal in the morning, microwave something for dinner.
The only thing I was concerned about was dealing with DS during the delivery. Luckily, it was scheduled, and my sister was able to watch him, but I was wondering what we would do if she went early at 3am or something....

there are a lot of men who are involved. Most can not do half as good of a job juggling all that mommies do though.

No, not all men are the same. But a lot are. And the OP was stating what HER DH said to her.
I am not the OP, but I think it is kinda rude to assume her DH isn't involved, I am sure he is. There is a difference between being involved and being able to take care of a small child by themselves overnight.

Oh no it's not an act. They really are clueless. If I left DS with DH for a few hours I would come home to a dirty, smelly, and hungry kid...
