I had a consult for a second opinion
Knowing I have crohns which is an immunological issue, I went to see Dr. Braverman.
I had to see what the fuss was about.
We had a very long chat and came out with a few things:
We are going to test for immune issues
He thinks Ganirelex suppressed me too much
DH will have a dna fragmentation test on his guys
I'm going to start taking some supplements
We both liked him.
After the blood tests are done we will see if there is an immune issue.

glad you went to see him!
i cant put my finger on exactly what it is about dr. b that makes him amazing - he just really is the most caring person in the world. like you really feel like he genuinely cares about your case and will do whatever it takes to get you a baby. he's just a really warm person.
ive only been seeing him for a month and i usually take a while to warm up to people, but there's something about him that really makes me not at all mind going to the RE.

He did a major brain dump on me and DH with talking about the supplements and the immune issues and T-Reg cells and natural killer cells..
I certainly felt informed.
Totally different from my current doc.
I'm going to go ahead with the immunological testing and see where that leads me.
So far, tomorrow I have an IUI with Cornell so maybe all this will be for nothing but it was still good to meet him and hear his thoughts.
He was touching on everything I was thinking about the Crohns and my feeling about being too suppressed.
I didn't know he was going to test DH's swimmers. Because I had a loss and he had slight morphology he wanted to. S'ok with us.
I got 3 out of the 4 supps..I have to find DHEA in sublingual form.
