I had another ultrasound yesterday...
My doctor wanted to check for bilaternal placenta notching since the sonogram place has picked it up on me before. I'm 35 weeks and thankfully no notching this time! But they measured  and she's already a little over 6 pounds. Assuming she comes around her due date they think she'll be around 8.5lbs! Looks like I'll be skipping right over all of the adorable newborn outfits we've gotten!

8.5 I think you can still do NB.
it really will depend on her length more than anything!
DS was born at 9.14 and 22.5 inches. He could fit in the NB stuff, for 1 wear! But it was more due to his length, he was just too tall for those!
And of course remember they can be off alot in those sonos!

congrats (though i'm not familiar with that condition).....they can be really off with those measurements so she may still be able to wear those cute outfits

oh wow!!! last week was measuring at 5.6 so looks like our are almost the same in weight!!! does this mean we can go just a little bit earlier?!?!  like winter break earlier?!

Don't worry! They told me the day before I had my DD that she was well over 8 lbs... at 38 weeks... and that I was going to be spoken to about possible c-section... water broke the next day... and she was born at 7 lbs 6 ounces... They are not always right with birth weight, and my DD got at least a months usage out of her newborn clothing... (we only had like 5 outfits and rotated them)

8.5 is not too bad, and least they are not saying possible 10lb'er!

Ang, Leah is now 8lbs 9oz (gained 1 pound in 2 weeks) and is still in her newborn clothes

you really never know, even with dr's estimating their weight.
my friend was told her baby was going to be huge... like a 10lber. he came out at like 6 lbs!!!! ummmmm... that's a big difference.
