I had my baby girl!!!!
I didn't feel right Monday night and even though the contractions were 20 minutes apart, they were so severe that I couldn't talk through them. My OB told me to come into LIJ. Got there at 10:30pm and was at 2-3cm. They admitted me and the contractions got so much worse. By the time I was in a room to get an epi at midnight, I was already 7cm!! I was progressing quickly with little relief. The epi was amazing and helped me through the worst parts. My baby girl was born just a few hours later- total of 5 hour labor with 4 pushes. I wouldn't wish a fast birth on anyone but Dr. Cohen was amazing and so is LIJ. Couldn't have made a better choice in hospital!

Congrats!!!!! Fast labors are good no? Then again the pain comes on too fast for relief I guess.

It's your mucous plug. Looks like a glob of bloody mucous. I had it with my oldest and was in active labor within 24 hours.
