I had my growth sono today and....
everything is FINE! Actualy, everything is WONDERFUL! He is right on target - 4 1/2 lbs exactly! He is sideways, just as I expected, but what I thought was his head, is his hip. His head is on my left side and he's facing upwards and the pain I keep feeling is him kicking my lower right rib. Heartbeat was good. Any doubt I had about cancelling my VBAC and scheduling a c/s went out the window when I got the confirmation of his position. My daughter kept turning and turning and it was like a game. So, we're working on getting our c/s date. The dr. said it should take about 2 days for the coordinators to get it all scheduled with the dr. that I want and to arrange for pre-surgical testing. So I should find out my the end of this week or early next week when they will do it. He did say it will be 7-10 days before my dd, so the lastest this baby will come is March 5 Smile [:)] We got some really GREAT views of his face (like I never saw before on a regular 2d sono), we even saw him blinking his eyes, but the pictures didnt come out too great. I go for my 3d sono on Sat, so I'll wait to post pics until I get those. But let me tell you that he was absolutely beautiful! I am even more excited for Sat! Okay, I'm rambling on now, but I am so relived that everything was okay!
I go back in 2 weeks for my next appt which will be an internal - yuck! Thank you everyone so much for your good thoughts!
