I hate EZPass!!!

I have been trying to close my EZPass account for two months now. I sent my passes in with a letter requesting they close my account and credit my credit card any balance left in my account. My account is still open three weeks later. I call them, and they tell me I have to send the letter to a different address, so I do. Three weeks later, my account is still open. I call them again - they tell me they never received either of my letters and I have to send another one, to the address to which I sent the second letter. I told them they didn't get the other letter I sent to that address so why should I mail another. She gives me the fax number and says to fax it. I ask her to close it over the phone since I have no passes and can't use the account anyway and she says she can't do it. So, I try to fax it and it rings but never picks up. I call back yet again and I'm told that the machine is just really busy and I won't get a busy signal - it will just ring and then disconnect. I'm told to keep trying because the fax is on 24/7. This wouldn't be an issue except that my mom's car was on my account and now she wants to open her own but she can't until my account is closed. I hate this place!!!

Great! I just sent them a letter a few weeks ago so I guess my request hasn't been honored either. I sent the tags in a package as well.

I just got EZ-Pass...so I'm guessing I'll be dealing with this later on in life....

Crud, I sent mine in about 2 weeks ago -- looks like I will be right behind ya!
