I hate this waiting game!!
I had my first OB appt. on Wednesday and all the dr. saw was a sac; i have LOOOOONG cycles so it makes sense that the dates didnt match up
This happened with DS as well, where they have to measure from ovulation date and NOT LMP date because of my cycles
took blood wed, friday and tomorrow
had sonogram again today at radiology office and tech couldnt tell me anything
:(
I go back to the OB next Saturday and I just hate waiting to find out or hoping to see more than the sac
Anyone else have this too? I know it is common when they do sono so early, I just hate that the dr used the word "viable"

Laura, how far along were you based on your LMP and the sono? Do you know when you O'ed?
I know my OB's office doesn't want to do a sono until around 8 weeks.

My lmp was november 21
i ovulated december 14; so that was only 27 days ago
i didnt ovulate until CD24; that is why there is such a discrepancy

I wouldn't worry-that is really early to do a sono! You technically aren't 4 weeks yet based on your O date! Don't freak out love!

that is what i figured; it just makes you feel sad when they use the word "viable" and "empty sac". I guess I shall sit back and wait.....
With DS I went to the dr. very early too and they did the BETA but I dont remember there being an empty sac

Did you tell them when you O'ed? I think they are scaring you unnecessarily! I don't know what they expected to find at 3 weeks 6 days!

No problem Laura! I just hate when people make you worry like that for no reason. At least he agreed! Just hang in there. At this point, as long as your beta is doubling, I don't see why they would use the word "viable".
