I hate toys r Us....don't wait to put together your gifts!!!!

TRU IS RUINING MY NIGHT!!!! 1st they ship an item with the picture on the outside, thankfully my DD didn't see closely what UPS was delivering.
Well, they shipped me a defective doll house, it's Christmas Eve Eve, my husband works until 3am and has to be back at 9am tomorrow.
I have a 3 months old and a 3 year old and can't just leave the house or take them with me to see their present.

I can't get through to my local TRU to have them hold the doll house for an exchange and TRU.com won't ship a new one to be overnight for free! I HATE YOU TOYS R US!!!!!

UPDATE: Well after hubby got home I headed to TRU and exchanged the house. Came home and put it together, to be sure it's ok! I am going on 3 hours of sleep I relly hope DD loves it!!!!!

i know this may not solve your TRU problems but what about overnight shipping from Amazon? It may be too late... What if you put a pic of the toy for dd and said santa is sending it and have it OUT with TRU after the holiday...damn them!

she's 3 and IOU is not an option! I can't return the item since it's been opened, just an even exchange. Now I know why I never buy from TRU!

So looks like when DH gets home at 3am, I am heading out to get it, because he has to leave for work at 8am tomorrow.

Some Christmas Eve, I am going to be shot & caring for my 2 kiddies!
