I hate waiting for test results
I had blood taken on Thursday and Saturday. I am waiting to see if my numbers are going up appropriately. I called and of course they don't have either number yet. ERRR. Have to call back at 4. You may as well just torture me for the next three hours.

thats really weird, betas tend to be done stat because by now you should've had a third beta if there was any issue. i would call and b*tch them out!! that's pretty unacceptable IMO.

8pm and I still don't have the results. I called at 4 and the woman said they still weren't in. I told her I thought it was ridiculous for two business days to go by without getting a beta in. She then asked me "What are you exactly looking for here" --- UM - I just had a miscarriage I want to see if I'm where I should be with this pregnancy you idiot. She then told me she would call the lab and get back to me. 4 hours later and nada!

Ok - good news. My numbers were at 3000 on Thursday and 6000 on Saturday. My doctor is going to get me in for an early sono today just to see what's going on. I am so happy. When I had a miscarriage at almost 7 weeks my numbers were at 2200.

I know exactly how you feel. I tested positive as a carrier for SMA. My husband had to get tested since its a genetic disease. They tested him Friday and told me I probably wouldn't hear it the next Friday. I am going nuts waiting for these results. Why do they make pregnant woman wait and worry!

Lots of  There has to be a way for quicker results, especially for what you are waiting for. Please keep us posted.
