I have a question for the pharmacists....
DD was put on Omnicef and they substituted Cefdinir. Anyway the pharmacist never gave me any directions, just handed it over and walked away.
So I can read the bottle - it says 3/4 teaspoon once a day for 10 days. Fine. What I didn't notice was that it said do not refrigerate - and out of habit I refrigerated it. Did I compromise it? Will it be less effective?

Wait til he poops it will be a red color. I don't think it's that big of an issue if it's cold. Call your ped if it will make you feel at ease. But the poop, that is the worst part.

if you are concerned I would just pick up the phone and call the pharmacy - if it is a place like CVS etc - they will always answer any questions on the phone.

My kids have taken Cefdinir and it doesnt smell nice Putting it in the fridge didnt effect that 
I dont think refrigerating it can hurt it but I would call the pharmacy where you got it from and they will tell you for sure.
