i have a work dilemma

so I have been working as a temp for my current job but they are going to hire me permanently and I will be working for the company directly.

my dilemma is that I need to request the weeks off for the trip and I hadn't done it before because I was uncertain with my job future.

Should I wait until is official that i'm hired or should I do it know?

If you know they're going to hire you permanently then I guess they've spoken to you, right? I'd just tell them now that you have a trip planned, they should be fine with it. Congrats on the permanent position

Thanks, I was worried that it would affect it.
I work part time so is not like I get paid vacation.

I doubt that having a vacation planned is going to affect them hiring you on a permanent basis. Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!
