I have always set my goals high....
.....one of my goals after Brady came home was to shower every day before DH got home from work (sounds easy, right?) Well, I have managed to do it every day---but today is not looking promising! I have been wondering when my little guy was going to start to wake up and today seems to be the day----he wanted nothing to do with sleeping---just wanted to look around and when he got tired just wanted to be held.......now he is in his swing "dozing". Why do I get the feeling that my goal is only going to get more challenging as he gets older??

I have to wait for DH to come home before I can shower, I swear DD knows whenever im about to try to get into the shower, she starts to scream.

Re: I have always set my goals high....
Our bathroom is right off our bedroom, so I usually bring DS upstairs with his playmat, put that on the rug, and he plays. I can see him from the shower (glass doors). This won't work forever, but it's fine until he's mobile or more aware that mom is naked, whichever comes first.
Even so, some days I don't manage a shower if he is really, really fussy.

Re: I have always set my goals high....
I used to shower at night after DH got home from work. Now we have a "Plan" LOL that we have been using for a while. I am up first (even though I am a SAHM), but, if I want to shower, I need to be up first before DH and DS and grab the shower. I know this may sound wierd, but, my shower in the AM is like my morning coffee. I NEED it to wake me up. It's been working for months now.
