I have an OPK question...
Ok, so I have been off the pill for about 3-4 months (I cant remember exactly) anyway AF has been a little off lately, one month 27 days, one month 25 days, and last month 23 days. So I decided to use an OPK starting when AF left and so far it has been a BFN. Is it possible that I can o that late. Today is CD10. I already have a check up appt with my dr. on 10/5 and he already gave me a prescription for a bunch of blood work which I want to do this week so he has the results on time. Should i continue using the OPK?

Re: I have an OPK question...
I had a similar problem when I went off birth control. My first few cycles after going off the pill were normal, approx 28-29 days. Then the cycles were getting shorter ie. 23 days...my MD said that I wasn't ovulating that month with such a short cycle; eventually I was bleeding for several weeks. I have PCOS, so we knew that this was a potential problem, anovulatory cycles.
I would call your MD and see ask about those short cycles, I don't think you ovulate when it's that short, but I could be totally wrong.
What was done for me, we went back on the pill ; and a year later (last month) I went off the pill again, and because we now know my history that I tend to only have a few normal cycles when I go off the pill; this month my MD wants me to go on clomid, and if that doesn't work, we are going with clomid, metformin and dexamethasone.
