Val- I wanted to add that pituatary cysts are almost ALWAYS non cancerous and they are actually VERY common.
I have one on my Thyroid, which they classify as a pituitary cyst.

ITA and was about to say the same thing.
BTW do they feel the cyst was the cause of your symptoms or was it just an incidental finding. Because if its incidental, its likely been there for some time and hasn't bothered you.
I'm annoyed that they didn't do the MRI the first time with contrast, so you wouldn't have to go through this again. My father recently had the same thing happen to him. It suc*s but try to stay positive and remind yourself that if its anything, its a CYST.
