I have cholestasis - could use some good thoughts!
So I finally just got the call, my bile acid levels are elevated which means I definitely have cholestasis. This s*cks. I knew something was wrong and I'm so glad I said something instead of just chalking the itchiness up to pregnancy. I'm also glad my doctor was proactive enough to test me for it!
I have an appointment tomorrow morning to talk about how bad it is and what the next steps are. I know I need to see a gastro doctor asap. He also told me I am definitely not going to 38 weeks...so I am packing my bag tonight and we'll see what they say tomorrow. Please send good thoughts my way for tomorrow! I am 35 weeks and hoping they will let me go another week or two - the babies are good weights but I'm afraid their lungs aren't going to be developed enough.

Just know that they will not deliver the babies unless the doctors feel it is absolutely necessary, and they feel the babies will be fine once delivered. They are going to risk anyones health.
