I have gained 9 pounds
it only 5 1/2 weeks! I just got back from the doctor and she said she isn't concerned yet since my overall weight is good. But she only wants me to gain 3-5 pounds by my next visit in 3 weeks.
Now I am petrified this is going to happen again!

Don't worry too much. I have weeks where I gain a pound and then last time I think I gained 6 in 2 weeks. I was pretty shocked. Maybe the baby just had a growth spurt or something.

As long as you are eating healthy and not going to the Cheesecake Factory then I think you shouldn't worry. Lots of lean meats and fruits and veggies.
Can you take a walk after work? That might help.

I think that's my problem- I have been eating anything I want. I guess that free ride is over
There have diffently been some of those Cheesecake Factory meals, T.

I had big gains here and there too- I think we all do at some point. As long as your Dr. isn't too concerned then don't get yourself worked up.

Just wait until m/s kicks in - everything will change - I dodn't gain any weight at 5 wks, but come 7 wks, my m/s was so bad I lost a ton of weight - not a good thing - but you ay need those extra pounds to help you out in a few weeks!!!
just take it easy and eat healthy though!

Any chance you were weighed in the evening? I weigh myself first thing in the morning and by the late afternoon I am between 3 and 4 pounds heavier. The next morning, I'm back down to what I weighed the previous morning.
