I have terrible cold
Does anyone know of anything I can do to make it better? I've been eatting chicken soup, resting and plenty of water.

If you are in your 2nd tri, my doc allows benedryl- it really helps dry you up.
Hang in there- I am with you right now with sickness. Sick and pregnant stinks

call your OB - they will have a list of approved medications for you....most say Tylenol Cold is okay...or benadryl...
there is NO reason for you to be miserable!

May - I was SO sick 2 weeks ago (between weeks 6 & 7 and was absolutely miserable. I'm still a little congested. I think Tylenol (regular strength) is safe to take, but give your OB a call. Wait, you're going tomorrow - just ask then!

I'm about 8 - 9 weeks and have been suffering with such a terrible cold - I actually lost my voice this weekend - the only thing that my doc said I could do is take a tylenol (but not a lot) if I have a fever, but otherwise I am too early to take anything - fluids and rest - I go for a visit tomorrow to see if she says anything else....good luck and feel better!!!

I have the cold too and have had it for almost two weeks now. It's a resistant strain. My doc said tylenol regular or extra strength was okay and robitussin without any of the initials after it. He also said I could use Afrin sparingly which is what helped the most. Feel better.

I agree to ask your dr at your visit tomorrow. I'm just getting over a cold and it stunk! Feel better! In the mean time, what you are doing is great, clear liquids and lots of rest.
