I have Very Very LIttle Patience Left...
I have very little patience left 
Gianna has been whining almost all day basically since Last Monday. She's like baby jekyl and baby hyde. She's fine 1 minute then whines for next 10. Plus she's going through this I only want mommy for everything and anything phase again.
I am 8 months pg, getting very uncomfy now, i can't bend that much, acid ingestion is back, my feet are swollen, I am so so EXHAUSTED.
I just wish i had some help during the day, so i could go nap, or take a break, but i don't. I know Gianna's just being herself, a 1 year old testing her boundaries.
I have no car during the day either. It's just me, Gianna and my trusty stroller.
I know it's not her fault, but I need a break, I feel like I could just cry.

Is there anyway you can get a friend to come over and watch Gianna just so you can get a little break? Or even better, borrow her car and go get a pedicure or do something relaxing for an hour.

Hang in there. We're in that same phase and I have snapped at Miranda a few times and feel just awful (and I don't even get to say I'm pregnant). You're doing the best you can, just remember that.
I always wished I lived closer to mom's in NY so I could help out.

OMG, Thank you everyone...Sometimes for this reason I still wished i lived on LI even as much as Love CT. I miss my support system sooo much. Plus I would get to meet all you wonderful ladies!
All of our friends up here are either engaged or just married-no kids and they work full time.
I think my SIL is in Labor with my niece (her contractions are about 15 min's apart), and I am looking forward to that, my bro is taking a month off.
I Think i just need a distraction.
What kind of activities can you do with a 1 year old all day? I play with her, but I think she gets bored with me.

I hated everyone when I was 8 months pg, so I cannot even imagine it witha one year...you deserve a medal
when DH gets home, shut the door and take a nap!

Is it possible to enroll her in a music class or something, so that she can participate while you sit on the side and gather your thoughts. Iknow you're still watching her, but maybe just the "alone" time will help.

The park where she can run around & practice falling.
If she follows you around, I would give her things to do - like matching the colors on socks, etc.
"Cooking" = bang pots & pans, or actually mix stuff
Here's other suggestions:
Fisher Price - Play & Learn website
Our favorite thing to do was to dance around the room (yes, 8 months pregnant)...or there is always the family nap! Woo Hoo!

Is there a way you can meet up with any moms or mom groups to make mommy friends. If I didn't have my friends with kids here I would go nuts. We usually go to the Y in the morning so that kills a few hours and I get to workout while she plays. We do play dates a few times a week also. I know you don't have a car so I'm not sure what is in walking distance to you.

The one thing I HATE about where our home is, it's in the middle of NOWHERE! There is nothing within walking distance!
There are no parks for little kids, the nearest playground is the elementary school a couple blocks from here. The center of town is at least 4-5 miles away and there are no sidewalks along the way.
I live in a condo complex, so all my neighbors are my parents age and older.
We have no choice but to drive to get to anything we need to do around here. ANother reason I miss LI...
I am trying convince my DH to get another car but he's too worried about $$$$$ since we only have 1 income and we are saving to get the hell out of here, plus unexpected baby #2 coming in a couple weeks.
I am going to head to the library-oh yeah which is under construction til may 2008, and see if there are mommy groups that meet at houses or something near me.
It stinks sometimes, I get so frustrated, sometimes I feel i am the one making all the sacrafices for us, but DH works so hard and will be done with school really soon.
I am hoping my parents house sell soon so I can have my mom up here permanetely-anyone want to buy her house in Lindenhurst?
Sorry so long, I have these days sometimes, i just hope i don't have these days everyday for the next 7 weeks til i have this kid.

Don't be sorry, Michele, that's what we are here for. We don't mind listening (or reading ) when one of our own is have a particularly rough day.
I can't imagine how difficult it is without your family and at least SOME friends.

I completely understand what you are going through. Once Luka hit 1 everyday was new adventure. He is constantly throwing tantrums and I just ignore them. I have 2 pot drawers in the kitchen and the bottom one is where I keep all my tupperware and that keeps him so busy. He also "helps" me with folding the laundry. I try to fold it and he pulls it out of basket and either gives it to me to fold or throws it on the floor. I also go with walks with about 3 times a week. I do have a car but he doesn't last more than 2 hours in the stroller indoors.
It will get better
