I hear they are getting rid of COOKIE MONSTER!Update: not true
My sis is a teacher and apparently her students told her this.
They say he isnt healthy and educational or doing any good for children so they are taking him away and getting a "Veggie" Monster.
Is this true?
My dd loves him and well just about any kid I know!

There was talk of that months ago but I heard they put the kabosh on it. I think people were in too much of an uproar over doing away with Cookie Monster.

Thats ridiculous.. how could they just get rid of cookie monster!!!.. hes an original character. They really should worry about other things than that.. i see some things on cartoons that are way worse than a monster eating cookies.

Whhhhaaaaatttt??? NO WAY!!!!!! FOr personal reasons I wish they would give a heads up when The Count and all his scary bats comes on - to this day I still find him creepy and scary!! But clearly those are issues I need to take elsewhere!

My friends husband works for Sesame
this is what she said..
