I just made an AMAZING brownie pie! and it was so easy....

I just made an AMAZING brownie pie! and it was so easy....
Got it form my best friends daughters PTA cook book.
BROWNIE GANACHE PIE
1 brownie mix ( regular size, not family size)
1 stick butter softened
3 cups confectioners sugar
1 T vanilla extract
3 Tablespoons milk
pie tin
3 oz chocolate chips
Make brownie mix according to directions. Grease pie tin. COOL completely. Take butter, conf. sugar, extract, and milk and blend with electric mixer until smooth. Put on top of cooled pie, , spread evenly.*** This is when I topped with walnuts*** Put in fridge until well chilled. melt chcolate chips and drizzle on top .
**The receipe did not call for walnuts, I just added some**

The recipe is not clear to me. You say to let the pie cool, but you never mention baking.

bake according to directions on back of brownie box- sorry I thought I posted that.I just watched it my oven not to overbake it in the pie pan. It made 2 pies for me. HTH
