Toll House Pie (Easy Delicious Dessert)

This is DH's favorite chocolate dessert... and I am making it tonight for valentine's day!

Toll House Pie:

2 eggs
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup butter, melted and cooled to room temperature
one 6oz. package (1 cup) Nestle toll house semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 cup chopped walnuts
one 9-inch unbaked pie shell (the rolled kind)

Preheat oven to 325. In large bowl, beat eggs until foamy. Add flour, sugar and brown sugar; beat until well blended. Blend in melted butter. Stir in nestle toll house semi-sweet chocolate morsels and walnuts. Line bottom of pie plate with bottom layer of pie crust. Pour into pie shell & cover with top layer. Bake at 325 for 1 hour.

Let pie sit for approximately 30 minutes before serving.

Serve with a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream!

It is good AND easy, but it LOOKS impressive (like you slaved all day in the kitchen baking a pie from scratch!)! Chat Icon
