I just need to vent for a sec
Before my wedding a couple of months ago, I was constantly running around to work, the gym, bridal stores, doing wedding projects, taking care of the house etc etc....
Since the wedding however I've been in a slump. I lost my workout partner ....and DH has just been being slammed w/ work every night so I've been picking up chores like cleaning, dinner and pets. I have an hour commute to and from work.... I can't go to the gym in the AM because then DH would have to take care of all the pets by himself and that's not fair when he's also trying to get out of the house for work (we're both out the door between 7:15-7:30am) My gym isn't by my job so I can't go on my lunch break. Then if I go after work, i'm not home until like 7:30-8pm if I get in a quick workout and then I still have to cook/clean up dinner, take care of pets and I still want to spend a little time with DH. I can't get motivated to spare time for the gym and it kills me! I feel schlumpy (which is something I made up but it totally fits how I feel!) and lazy....
Am I being a baby? Anyone else feel frazzled w/ their schedule and finding a convenient time for the gym?

Could you try to go on weekends? It's not as good as every day, but that's at least 2 days a week you can get in.

Re: I just need to vent for a sec
That's why I eventually bought an elliptical machine for my home a few years ago. I was still living with my parents, working full time, and going to grad school part time. It was a lot easier having the resource in my home. Maybe you could get some workout videos and some weights if you have no room for equipment. I am not sure what pets you have but maybe if you have a dog you could take him/her out for long walks/jogs?
