I just wanted a normal pregnancy...(long, sorry)
Doesn't look like i will have one. With DD i breezed through it but around 36 weeks i questioned the placenta because it was low and right next to DD's head, they said it was close to cervix but fine. Normal pregnancy to 37.5 weeks.
This one is completely diffrerent. Placenta is causing alot of problems. It implanted very slow from the beginning, OB wasn't too worried until yesterday. I had to call a few weeks ago because of bad cramping and burning issues and yesterday again with the cramping and the burning and now having sex is painful, especially near my cervix when DH gets deep enough. OB did an ultrasound yesterday and first thing he said was how the plcenta has moved even lower and is likely the culprit for my cramping and cervical issues and said there is a still a chance it could move but he sounded very skeptical, it's doing the opposite of what he thought. He thought as the baby grew the placenta would move up, instead it seems as the baby grows the placenta is being pushed downward and the OB mentioned something about further problems leading to pelvic rest or bed rest and early delivery between 34-36 weeks. He said im gonna be one of those pateints that "gives him a run for his money" this time around. Not what i was wanting to hear. Im only 16 weeks anx the placenta is causing problems, i cant even now, it hurts too much.
DH and i are trying to get the nursery done early just in case i end up not being able to do uch as the pregnancy progresses and end up on bed rest or pelvic rest. We got the crib and changer yesterday and are starting to paint in a couple weeks, bedding arrived today. I don't think i will make it to my due date, OB doesn't either.
Anyone have any experience with placenta problems like this?? I just hope this baby continues to grow healthy although it's not very active at all.

I don't have any BTDT advice, but wanted to send along some
I know how frustrating and disappointing it can be when you hear negative news.

I can relate to just wanting to have a normal pregnancy.
I had placenta issues but they resolved. You should FM Harlow-J ... She had some similar issues to you!

It probably is active but its harder to feel with a low lying placenta!!!
