I know girls aren't supposed to poo...
But my kid never poos!!! Honestly, if she has a poo every other, I am surprised! When she does poo its like a huge amount of poo, but its so infrequently...
When she was first born she was a pooing machine, now at 11 weeks, she rarely poos!! Whats going on?
Is it just us???

My best friend was EBF her DD and she only pooped 1 or 2 times a week and her ped said it was completely normal and fine,
My DD was FF and she pooped everyday pretty much.

Re: I know girls aren't supposed to poo...
I was told as long as she doesnt go more than two days it was fine.. otherwise I'd have to bring her in but even then they'd implied its not that big of a deal they would just check her to be sure she was ok.
The only other thing was that when she finally DOES poo as long as she's not straining too hard you should be fine.

Re: I know girls aren't supposed to poo...
for ebf babies it is fine to not poop for a whole week - my son only pooped once a week from about 10 weeks till 6 months when we started solids
but thank oodness we used cloth when he did poop because it was masive but he was never straining
bm is the most efficient food for them there is little waste is the way to think about it
