I know I ask alot of Nanny questions! Just one more...
My DD is 4 months...my nanny is itching to get outdoors, arent we all! My nanny has made several comments that are bothering me...i know it is hard to find the perfect one, i dont expect that but i guess i have certain expectations when dealing with a young infant...
She keeps commenting she cant wait to go outside-asks me for a carseat every other day.. said my DD will be out so much she will prob nap in her stroller..
Second, she told me she hates A/C and prob wont even want to run it in the summer! My DD is little..she said oh, well, you have a pool we will be fine-i told her we dont want DD in it at all...
I am not good at being a boss at all... I am super easy going but keep it all inside i guess...
I dont want DD outside all day and night..she is too little and very fair.. Second, i dont want her driving her around much yet..Once she is a year old and walking etc, it would be good for her, not at 4 months.. The A/C thing really bugs me, she told me at her last job, she turned the ppls ac off the whole summer when they were gone! That is just unacceptable...
I begin to wonder if i either have bad luck choosing nannies or am too hard on them? This is my second one ( i had to fire the first due to a DWI and problems that came back on her background etc...)

I agree with you with not wanting your DD in the pool when you are not there, but I would much rather DD be outside than inside all day weather permitting whether she was in infant or a toddler. As long as she is protected by a sunshade or wears sunscreen when she gets a couple months older, I don't see a problem with it.
As far as the AC goes, mine runs all summer - I can't imagine life without out - I am always hot.I'm not sure how I would handle that.
Sorry you have to go through this. At the end of the day, you are her boss and she should listen and accommodate your wishes. If she doesn't I would start looking for someone else
