I know I have 5 more months to go but I cant help myself
A week from today I go for my Level II and we might find out what we are having. My question is how do I dress a summer baby and what do I dress the baby in coming home from the hospital? Do I put an undershirt on them? I was thinking of a cotton strechy with nothing under it.

That is what I brought Molly home in. I also had a little hat for her head and a blanket because of air conditioning in the car.

Well, Katherine was born on 9/7, but it was a very warm September...I believe it was around 80 on the day we brought her home.
The first picture is what we brought her home in--you can see a little sweater on the table that she wore in the car.
The second picture is what she would wear on a typical day in September...

Nate was born June 1st and I got an outfit that came with a onsie, jumper, jacket and hat. It was about 70 degrees when we brought him home. We covered his carrier with a light blanket.
Not the greatest pics but you get the idea
ETA: I can't believe my baby was this small...brings back memories. Now he's talking, running, jumping and climbing.

Kaitee came home August 2nd. Here in California it was over 100 degrees. This is what she wore(the date on my camera was wrong):

All those babies look so cute!! So do you think I should buy a summery out fit and then something with long sleeves and pants and see how the weather is that day (I know it will be hot cause I am due July 7th)

Andrew came home on such a hot day. And this is what he wore. My sister got it for him from PAris so I had to put him in it. The rest of the summer he was practically naked. It was such a hot summer last year

This is a great question, I'm due June 20th and have been wondering the same things. I bought a cute outfit in BRU the other day, it's short sleeves and I believe pants, but it's cotton, so I think it should be good.

Adrianna I have been scoping already too. I am trying to wait patiently for the spring/summer stuff to come out. I was thinking of just a short sleeve shirt with cute pants or shorts, or a one piece short sleeve layette and a very light blanket same as DD, the day she came home it was 85 degrees and humid and that was may!

Marron was born on April 23rd and came home on the 28th. It was a really warm spring and the day we brought her home was so bloody hot that I was sweating and my hair was frizzing! This is what we put on her. We didn't find out what we were having so I bought special little outfits for boy and girl. This was a nice light cotton suit and we put a receiving blanket over her in case of a cool breeze.
