I know that once they start drinking formula it's a 1 hour deadline....

... before the formula is no good, but, here's my question.

Kristina gets 2oz of formula in her bottles, the rest is all whole milk.

If Kristina starts drinking it, is it the same premise as formula? Is she only allowed to drink from the same bottle w/i that hour?

I never followed a one hour rule...I always gave it to Johnny within 4 hours, he was fine. I know most of my friends stick to around 3-4 hours as well...do what is comfortable for you but milk and formula will stay ok for a bit if kept at room temp or colder.

that's the thing though. I *have* to warm Kristina's milk.... like a dopey - I got her used to it, and now she won't take it unless it's warmed.

So she gets it warm, and I'm afraid with that that it wouldn't be as good if it was cold or room temp. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I wish I had never started warming it!
