I know there are many people with Crohn's or relatives with Crohn's on this board...

So I am wondering if anyone is doing the CCFA walk on April 28th.

My mom can't do it this year since she will still be recovering from her surgery, but me and DH, Emily, my 2 sisters and various others will be there.

Where is it this year?

ETA- I just looked it up and it is in Massapequa again (which is where I live). I think I will do it this year. I donate to CCFA and I always say I will do the walk but I never do. I think I will really do it this year. Does everyone who walks have to raise money? I know I would but just wondering if I get friends to do it with me, do they have to raise money on their own also? Any info would be appreciated. TIA!

It is in Marjory Post Park again this year, which was actually a great site. When it was at Wantagh Park it was a bit windy.

As far as donations you don't have to have anything to walk. My DH didn't have donations one year and they let him walk anyway. Also there isn't a minimum donation, so if you decide that you just want to donate $20 yourself, that is fine too.

It's always a fun walk. I've been doing it since about 1996 or so.

Not this year. I have a little too much going on right now, but I have before.
