I know this may be early but....
what are everyones plans for New years? usually we go to dh's friends house party but they just had a baby, so they arent having one, i would throw a party but our apt is too small, any ideas, i feel like i wanna do something different

In an ideal world I would have already sorted out renting a cottage somewhere beautiful like Northumberland or the Cotswolds, instead I think I am sticking to Greater Manchester and going to a friends house who also has kids...

Usually we alternate houses for a New Years Eve party. Last year it was our house, so my BIL & SIL are hosting this year...

I'm going to try and convince DH that we should do something fun. we usually just go out to eat and then come home to watch the ball drop.
it would be nice to get dressed up and go to a catering hall.

My DH and I don't really like going out for New Years. A friend of ours is currently planning on renting a local bar/club, hire a well known DJ and throw a BIG New Years party. it's still a little earlier so our current plan may change.

We are going skiing for the weekend and staying in a townhouse with a couple of friends/family. On NYE, we'll probably have our own little party in our rooms.
