IMO, it might be a bit too warm.
We went on OCotber 10th and it was very warm out, my kids were sweating in jeans and a tshirt.

I would have shorts as a back up. I've gone twice in the beginning of November-one year was hot and the other year was pretty chilly

Well if you are going to the parade at night it is fine. We went this past Halloween and my DS had a Power Ranger Costume on long sleeves and pants and DD was Minnie Mouse and she had a turtleneck onsie on long sleeve and pants. It was rainy and cold. It was still alot of fun though. He will be fine in that.

Do most people just dress up at night?

I went in 2006 for the Not So Scary Halloween Party and the night we were there it was so hot and muggy, Hayley was sweating in her Cinderella dress. You can always get a backup costume if it is really warm out.

Well you can buy seperate tickets for Mickey's not so scarcy parade which I think they start letting people in around 4:00. If you are already in MK they will have a spot within the park where you show your tickets and they hand you a bracelet and a bag for all the candy. I noticed that most people started dressing up around 3:00. I dressed my kids around 6:00 after being in the park all day. Some of the younger kids were dressed up early and I remember the little girls were dressed up as the princesses when they entered. People really get into it. If I went again I think I would dress up too. It was so much fun and you guys are going to have a blast.

Okay, let me warn you... DH and I and DD spent an entire day in the ER in Disney after DD broke out in a huge rash all over her body... the cause---sweating in a Minnie Mouse costume at Disney World in early December. We didnt realize that she would get that reaction, but I guess with the heat and sweating and the polyester... well ya see where the story goes... lol... just wanted to give ya a heads up!

We were there around Halloween time last year- it was SSSOOOOO hot our costumes lasted about a half hour, and it was at night. It is totally hit or miss with the weather that time of year. We went to the Not so scary halloween party and had a blast!
