I lost my baby
Just wanted to update everyone, I lost my sweet baby boy at 18 weeks. He was healthy and perfect but my water broke while I was at the park with my girl.
It was truly the most heartbreaking thing I have ever endured.
Just take a moment to look around and be grateful for the beautiful healthy babies and children in your life. I had the most humbling experience at LIJ who were so wonderful with us. To know this happens so often is just not right at all. I still can not come to grips as to why this happened, it seems like a cruel joke for us as we are an infertility couple and just getting pregnant is honestly a miracle for me.
Please say prayers for all the mommies that have lost their beautiful angels out there. We are taking it one day at a time.

I am so very sorry. When I lost my girl at 27 weeks a few years ago, it was just a numbing feeling. The things that got me through it was focusing on all the wonderful things I have in front of me. It is easier said then done, but it helped me. I just gave birth to a girl last week and her middle name is the name of the one we lost.
Stay strong mama, you will get through this <3

Hi ladies, thank you for the responses.
I’m doing ok, spent the summer keeping busy with my kiddies but the grief truly hits out of no where. I see his little face in my memories and it hurts terribly. I was able to hold him after I gave birth which I’m grateful for but that memory is truly so painful and heartbreaking for me on a daily basis. I’m currently working with Dr. Kofinas so hoping we get another chance!
