i love being home

I have the week off and I LOVE being with my son all day! Wow I really appreciate our time together so much no that I had to return to work. I am going to be so depressed Sunday night!

Its nice to be able to have all that time to spend with your child. It is time that is so important not only for their well being but also for creating memories for the both of you.

Before Kevin came I was adamant about being a FT SAHM but it didn't work out that way and I had to go back PT (2 nights & every other Saturday).

It turns out working PT became a nice balance. I got to spend all day with Kevin, take care of the house but still had the chance to go out and work and sort of get a little piece of "life before baby" back.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually started looking forward to going to work (especially on days when Kevin is particularlly fussy!).

i am enjoying my time with jacob in these 12 weeks of maternity leave, and i will be returning to work 2 days a week also. I am also looking forward to going back for those 2 days just for a little time for me even though its work!!!! plus i feel i worked so hard in school for my career, i feel i owe it to myself. And the $$$$ is damn good!!!
