So what do you "love" about your home?
I love when I open the french doors (like yesterday) and let the fresh air in...it's such a relaxing feeling.
I also love when it's really, really clean and it's got that "home" feeling, like "ahhhhhhhh"...
I really love it in the summer when everything is blooming and I'm sitting on the front deck just before sunset.

Re: So what do you "love" about your home?
The layout, it's a "front to back split" and I like it a lot.
We have a water view from the front (of a reservoir, it's really pretty)

Re: So what do you "love" about your home?
Since we closed on October 29th we had a contractor doing 4 months of steady work (practically gutted the place) all new baths and kitchen...
My brand new kitchen designed by my FIL My expanded master bathroom w/ jacuzzi tub and subway tiles like granny's bathroom it's 13 by 13. My bedroom... chair-rail and crown moulding and his and her closets. The new wrap around banister The redone hardwood floors with extra coats of poly My large diningroom so we can have holidays here. Fireplace in the livingroom and fireplace in the den. Great big backyard with no one living behind us. The layout of the house. The neighborhood/school district.
I'm very lucky... I LOVE my house

Re: So what do you "love" about your home?
I love our lakeview & the fact that we have a private lake. I love the country feel of where we live, more relaxed lifestyle. About my house specifically, I truly love a lot but right now its my yard. I spend 90% of my time outside in the summer.

Re: So what do you "love" about your home?
I absolutely love the new kitchen and bathroom we did. I also love my big sliding door and how so much sun comes in to the dining area and living room. I also love hanging out in our backyard. And soon enough, I will have my porch to love

Re: So what do you "love" about your home?
It's in FL
I love sitting out on the lanai drinking coffee on a Sunday morning
watching the sunset from the lanai
the open floor plan
my bathroom
being able to open all the windows and sliding glass doors for fresh air
watching the blue birds and cardinals fly by
I also love when it's freshly clean and it's got that "home" feeling, like "ahhhhhhhh"... (I was picking something up off the carpet and I was doing the febreeze commercial - smelling the carpet, and just everything in the room smelled so crisp

I absolutely love the colors - they are bright and cheerful. I also love all my furniture. I look around sometimes and feel so blessed that I live there

Re: So what do you "love" about your home?
*Location: close to the LI sound, close to Huntington Village, Northport, Cold Spring Harbor, Hunt. train station is 5 minutes away and we're in a great school district (Harborfields.)
*Neighborhood: acre zoning w/mature trees. Multiple walkable blocks w/little traffic. It's also considered a "desirable" neighborhood.
*Property: an acre with lots of pine trees, spruces, etc. We have a 150' driveway, so plenty of parking for guests! And lots of room for the dogs to run around!
*Family Room: love opening the french doors, having a fire going (my husband built an amazing fireplace) with the music on.
*Dining Room: no shortage of room in there! Entertaining for the holidays isn't an issue.

Although we haven't moved in yet, I love that it has a fireplace. I also love the skylights and cedar ceilings that are throughout the house.

Re: So what do you "love" about your home?
Is it bad that there isn't really anything that I LOVE LOVE LOVE about my home???? I know it's beautiful and I am very lucky but there isn't one thing that I love. I like how everything looks put together but there isn't one room that I love completely.
Now that we have our patio done - once we put the grass down in a few weeks I guess I will love hanging out in the backyard on the porch.
OH - I LOVE my nice big walk in closet. Does that count?
I'm sad now.
