I love this dress, but it's sort of prison-matronly. Help me!
I just bought this dress. I decided not to return it because it's comfortable, and it's flattering in color and to my figure (this is hard for me to find!) Can anyone suggest accessories, shoes, etc. to make it look less like something I'd wear to run a jail?

Maybe try a belt if it doesn't interfere with the pockets. I would also consider maybe shortening it a little if it's on the long side on you. Otherwise, I would get some fun accessories and shoes - a long necklace for example.

I would do either a couple (3-4) of super long strands of pearls or gold necklaces. A wide cuff bracelet and black patent leather 3 inch heals with very thin heals.
