I made a diaper cake! (pic) -- What do you think??
I never made one before so this was my first shot at it! You may have heard me mention a friend who is very shy about having a shower for her baby due in June (she doesn't like to be the center of attention). I spoke to her husband and they're going to have a bbq for friends at their home and make it kinda a jack & jill baby shower. He said I could make her a diaper cake and some other baby-themed food and decor (I had offered to throw her a shower initially, but he feels this is better for her).
So today I sat down with a giant box of diapers, rubber bands, and various supplies and gave it a go!
I put a few pacifiers, some links (so useful!), desitin, a rattle, and baby washcloths shaped into roses on the cake. Should I add more stuff? Like socks or bibs or dolls? Does it look really stupid? Would you like receiving this cake?
I'm so excited about it but I want her to like it too!!!

Thank you all so much!!!! You make me feel so loved! 
I hope my friend likes it! I will resist the urge to fuss with it between now and her shower lol.
I feel so good about it! My diaper cake meant so much to me at my shower so I'm so happy to be able to pass that on to someone else.
