what about a rebecca minkoff bag?
She's my go-to for crossbody bags. They don't look frumpy.

Just bought a rebecca minkoff mini mac & I love it for holding small things. I am so used to a larger bag though to lug all my kids' junk so it was a strange adjustment for my shoulder.

I used a Kipling cross body bag in Disney. It's lightweight and the strap is comfortable and it didn't make me hot where it sat on my body. I got black to go with my outfits in October but I will probably get another lighter color for Summer use since it was perfect for tooling around with the kids.

Which kipling did you use? I like the metallic silver for summer.

I find leather & canvas bags too heavy for travelling, so I use this on vacation.
It's pretty casual, but so is Disney.

For something smaller & more stylish, I like the fuschia Tory Burch Swingpack posted above. It is Nylon, so it should be light.
