I need advice... Verizon problem and I am pi$$ed!!!
So 2 weeks ago DH and I upgraded our cell phones and we each got the new Krazr (see photo below). The front is mirrored and I pulled it out of my purse on Wednesday and the mirror part was cracked.
I just went to Verizon and they refuse to replace it for me with a new phone. They told me that I can pay $50 for a REFURBISHED phone.
Now on the receipt it says that I have 30 days to return it. Obviously, I'm not happy with the phone because it cracked so easily.
GRRRR....
Any advice? My DH is going to go back to Verizon with me tonight.

I would ask to speak with a manager. You should have 30 days to return it, you should not have to pay $50 for a refurbished phone after you bought it 2 weeks ago....it doesn't say much for the quality of their products if they won't stand behind it. Which store are you going to?

I would go down there tonight with both broken phones, with your reciepts and contracts and demand to speak to a manager. I would not leave there until the situation is resolved. There is no way they want you to make a scene in front of other customers. It is ridiculous that both phones broke within 2 weeks of purchase

I would call Verizon directly and demand a new phone. Tell them that on your contract is says 30 day and it's been less. some of the sales reps don't know what they are talking about and make things up.
It's always worth a try.

How did they both crack?
I would return them and tell them you're going to do business elsewhere if they can't help you out.
I mean really. What are the odds that you BOTH cracked your phones? They were obviously defective in some way.
I'm sorry you're dealing with this right now!!!

Seeing htey both cracked, I would bring them back ASAP, and demand a different phone all together. Don't leave until they let you do so.

ITA! Call them directly and tell them if this is the kind of service youare going to get and the kind of quality merchandise, then you will take you business elsewhere. It worked with Sprint
