Had an emergency c-section today due to our little girl being in distress.
She was born with the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck three times and swallowed some of the poop she let out.
She was not breathing when she came out and they worked on her for 18 minutes before she started breathing. It was so scary to hear the doctors working on her, not hearing cries, and just hoping for the best while I'm being sown back up from my csection!
Right now she is stable in the NICU but on all sorts of machines including a breathing one to help her breathe since she can't on her own right now.
